Why choose me?
Dear Client!
Thank you for your interest in DSV Translations!
DSV Translation stands for a Montenegro-based Language Services Company, which is currently a one-woman-business dedicated to providing the highest quality in translation and interpreting services to individuals, businesses and organizations at prices they can afford, with focus on outstanding customer experience and ethical business practices.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Dubravka Slavkovic-Vukovic and I am the person behind DSV Translations. I am a bookworm, passionate about all things linguistic. I am a qualified English ⇿ Montenegrin translator and court certified interpreter specializing in the translation of legal, corporate and technical documentation and localization of business websites.
I graduated from the reputable Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, with a degree in English Language and Literature in 2000. I was appointed as court certified interpreter for English, in accordance with the Decision of the Minister of Justice of Montenegro No. 03-767/09 of September 8, 2009 and reappointed by Decision No. 03-745-1631/17-1 of May 24, 2017.
Having worked for nearly 20 years as an in-house translator/interpreter in an international environment, honing my skills in various industries, I can offer practical experience from both judicial and diplomatic settings where I handled a variety of tasks. Juggling the career and being a full-time mother of three encouraged me to take this leap into the unknown and become a solopreneur.
In a nutshell, I truly love my job. I love all about it, including the sleepless nights, the stress and occasional fuss because my clients’ satisfaction makes it worthwhile.
If you are looking for a translator who can naturally and accurately convey the tone, the mood, the message and most importantly the meaning, especially that hidden between the lines, I’ve got you covered. Your translation project is in safe hands with me.
My role is to ease your business communication and help you cross the language and cultural barriers by capturing the spirit, texture and voice of the source phrases and turning them into well-worded, natural sounding sentences of the target language.
We’re in this together :)
